My name is Ian Algie. I am 19 years old and I live in Ayrshire, Scotland.
Yes, and at the colourful age of 19 I still have Garfield wallpaper in my
bedroom as you can see in the photograph (right). My biggest ambition in
life is to gain a BSc in Computing Science and as many Microsoft Certifications
as possible and then to Immigrate to the USA to become a NT Network Administrator
or something similar and ultimately to set up my own computing business. I went to the
USA for the first time this summer and it has made me more determined because I had the
greatest time and I met a lot of great people.
After having a lot of bad days and arguments with various Faculties I have finally negotiated my entry to level one Computing Science. I had hoped to go into second year but you can't have everything right? At least I am on the course now and back in full-time education.
As far as music is concerned, I am a big MARIAH CAREY fan and I also love U2 but I will listen to almost anything except Rave and Jungle music which just gives me a sore head! I would say that my music taste is very lyrically motivated; I prefer a song with lyrics that I can understand what the artist means by them and can really relate to them but a good melody will get me moving too!
